Tired...and a little bit grumpy....

Okay Okay I know that I am behind. SORRY!!!!
So for this weigh in.....................

Start weigth: 148
last week: 141
This week: 138
Total Loss: 10 pds

Crap thats only 3 pds. Not far from the 4 to 5 mark, but still not what I hoped for.
Hopefully I will do better in the next couple of weeks.
Goal weight 125 to 130 not much more to go. Hopefully when its gone I can maintain it and keep it off.

2nd WEEK of the DIET....

Start weight: 148pds
Week 1: 143 pds
Week 2: 141 pds
Total loss: 7pds

So this is not great but its not bad considering my son had 3 birthday parties this weekend!! LOL!! And I know you all are thinking did she eat cake everyday?? The answer is no I only ate cupcakes and cookies Sunday. And man were them some good cookies. Last week was okay but I think I can do better, matter of fact I know that I can do better. I plan to lose at least 4 or 5 pounds this week alone. So heres to planning if all goes well:
Monday:
breakfast: water(I was not hungry)
lunch: 100cal. popcorn and water
dinner: steamed veggies with water and maybe a turkey sandwich.
Tuesday:
breakfast: toast and water and maybe some coffee depends on how bad my night is!
Lunch: turkey sandwich and water
dinner: Baked potato plain with salad and water

I will have to let you know about Wednesday and Thursday when it gets closer! Some people say 1000 calories is not enough but if you look at what you eat and make sure you don't eat everything you see just because its there you will do okay. Not to say this has been easy for me because I could so go for a large bowl of cheese dip right now, but I have had to just tell myself as Reba would say it "LETITGO!!"

1 LONG weekend...

This weekend was a killer.
Friday I took off to clean house for the party Sunday pickup the cake for Saturdays party make cupcakes for Drake's class at school then go to the school have the party and come home to rest.
Saturday I got up cleaned what we messed up the night before and went to Crossett to pick-up the cupcakes for Sunday's party. Then we had a party at my Mothers house with just the family. It was a lot of fun and Drake was too funny opening all of his gifts.
Then on to Sunday we get up at 7am and play play play until its time to start getting ready then it was go go go. Drake had a great birthday and got lots of great toys from his friends. I will post pictures later just have to load them on to the computer. The weather man must have read my blog from the other day because it was beautiful outside.

Now the kid is sick and we are going to the doctor today!! YAY ME!!

OMG.........

It is so COOOLD!!!!!!!!! I kinda think that the weather man knows when I am planning a party or something cause every time it is like super cold and raining or snowing. I planned to get married in February cause we had not gotten snow or ice here in ages and then BAM BAM- it snows and sleets at the same time. Then for Drake's 1st B-day it is suppose to be nice outside and the day of the party the wind would nearly blow you down and it felt like it was 30 below. UGH..................

And now for the 2nd Birthday party. . . it has been rather nice for the past few weeks and now we get close to the party and BAM...insta COLD!!! I mean what the Heck DUDE can you not predict some warm weather and let it at least not be super cold for just that day. I am super glad that I don't live up north because I really hate cold weather, I would rather it be spring time all year long but with out the flowers and trees blooming....wait....maybe I would rather it be fall year round cause then everything is dying and my allergies would not act up as badly!!

I looked at the scale.....

and what did I see a 143 staring back at me!!! Go me!!!! So I will tell you this much this diet crap is hard for me but it is working. I did really good all week long until Friday night we went out to eat with some friends. I ate rather well I think I had grilled catfish and baked potato plain and a diet coke. But man did I want a HUGE FAT STEAK!!!!! Then Saturday I went out to eat with Mrs. Stephanie to eat Big Banjo Pizza and if you have ever had Big Banjo pizza you know its the best pizza ever. LOL!!! Then I cleaned house all day long and was not aware of the time when Gary called at 6:30 and wants to know whats for supper I pause and he then says SONIC. Crap here I go again so I failed that night too and ate from sonic. So as you can tell I was expected to step and the scale and it say to me Fat A$$ what in the world did you eat........but it didn't I think it might even have said a Cheer for me. LMAO!!! But I got back on track Sunday and I am doing good so far.

Start Weight: 148pds
1st week weight loss: 5pds
weight at week 1: 143

Crap I just hope that I can keep this up!!!

Day 3 of the Diet............

Well so far so good! Things have been hard but I really have been saying NO to so many foods that I would love to just gobble up. I know it sounds crazy but I have been making sure that I eat less salt and that kinda helps as well on the weight loss. I almost drank a DR pepper yesterday cause I felt like I was going to die of thirst but I made it with my water. Don't get me wrong I love to drink water but sometimes you just feel like its not enough. Back when I was prego my kidney doctor told me that I needed to drink like 8 12oz glasses a day and WOW I tried it and man is that a lot of water. I might be able to drink 3 or 4 glasses a day but that is pushing it. I truly feel good about what I am doing and hope that it works out for me. So I will update again by Friday and then the dreaded weigh in on Monday morning.........

Diet...Diet...and some exercise.........



So its DIET time for me, well more like exercise time. I am starting as of today to exercise and diet. My diet will consist of 1000 calories a day drinking only water and diet drinks. This means no more Juice and that really hurts cause I loooovvveee me so juice. I walked 1 mile this morning and plan to stick at this for about 2 weeks then I will start walking 2 miles. While shopping this weekend for more healthy foods I did not realize just how many calories I take in everyday. I would have to say anywhere form 1500 to 2500 calories if not more and that is not too bad but I really am going to have to keep a watch on this.

Okay for my Stats:

I am: 5ft 7in

current weight: 148lbs (and yes that is right, I tried taking a pic of the scale but it was like super flash and you can't tell what it says, SORRY!!)

BMI: 23.2 (which is normal for my height)

Pant size: depending on the brand can range form 8 to 10 and dress pants 10 to 12(Why is that your dress pant have to be so much bigger?)

GOAL WEIGHT: 125-130 lbs

I will tell you that since I was about 17 I have always weighed about 135 after I started dating Gary I put on the HAPPY weight of about 10 pds. I lost most of that about two years after Gary and I were together but then put it back on quite quickly. I weighed 148 when I got prego with Drake and when I came out of the Hospital from having him I weighed 150. So for me that is not to bad. My true goal with this is to truly tone up my body and lose some of these thighs and get back to my fit boby I used to have.

So here is to HAPPY DIETING for me!!!
